Oakring Pens (#8)

Hi!  My name is Brenna Taylor and this is my family: Opie, Destry and Dodger.  We travel together as fulltime RVers and sell our artwork and woodwark.

I enjoy making calligraphy ink and watercolor illustrations of comforting creatures and scenes, hoping to evoke a sense of nostalgia for places you’ve visited in fairytales and dreams.

Opie hand turns ornate writing instruments from blanks that he makes himself out of natural wood and sometimes a combination of local deadfall wood and resin.

His pens were also the first canvases for my illustrations and we still make a few illustrated pens as well.

Destry is in the early exploration stages of his art, and is currently hand carving wooden wands.
